Amy Aylward Vice President of Corporate Marketing Published 5 May 2022

Earlier today, Extreme President and CEO Ed Meyercord joined TD Ameritrade Network to talk about the incredible progress the company is making, punctuated by a new partnership with Verizon.

Despite industry-wide supply chain challenges, Extreme closed its FY22 Q3 with:

  • Record revenue of $285.5 million, up 13% year over year; marking a fifth consecutive quarter of double digit growth;
  • Record backlog of $425 million;
  • SaaS revenue of $97 million, an increase of 54% year over year and 10 % quarter over quarter.

The market has taken notice of Extreme’s differentiation in the market, which has contributed to accelerated adoption of its solutions and groundbreaking partnerships like Verizon. Additionally, within two quarters, Wi-Fi 6E has become 10% of Extreme’s wireless bookings.

Scott Lawrence, Verizon Business Europe Group Vice President said today,

“Given our history of success jointly deploying Verizon 5G and Extreme Wi-Fi solutions in some of the world’s largest and most prestigious venues in the U.S., we’ve formalized our relationship into an official strategic partnership that will enable us to continue to deliver that same level of expertise, innovation and impact to large venues across the European and Asia Pacific regions.”

Extreme solutions have undergone in-depth testing and verification in Verizon labs to ensure they meet the functionality, security and performance expected by Verizon customers.
